                 Choir Rehearsal

 Hey Bloggers. Welcome back. Today I am going to tell you about our amazing choir rehearsal. My school walked to Hay Park School. There were seven schools there. The schools there were :

Hay Park Primary
Waikowhai Primary-[us]
River Hills Primary 
Northcote Primary
Hillsborough Primary
Glen Eden Primary
Arahui Primary

We all sat in the big hall. Our choir teacher or guider was Mr. Lambert Our performance will be held in November in the Town Hall. We will be singing around 15 songs but have only learnt 7 of them. I would tell you guys the songs we would be singing but to find out you guys will have to come to watch our performance. As we arrived, we got some time to just sit and chat with our friends who were next to us as we would be singing quite a lot and that meant we wouldn't be able to talk to our friends. After we got to talk we sang our first song. It sounded beautiful. Mr. Lambert told us to add some things and to add more power. We did as we were told. We sang about 2 more songs after that and then we got to go outside and play and eat because it was morning tea. I had been to Hay Park School before as that was where the Student Led Toolkits was being held. I showed my friends around the school. Shortly after, we went back inside and sang all of our other songs. We were singing for 4 hours. Then around 12:30pm it was time for us to walk back to our school. 

Since the time I heard there was a choir at my school each year I wanted to be in it. I love to sing, it is my passion. Now that I am a Year 6 I can finally be involved. Year 5's can be in it too but last I didn't know when it was and then didn't get a chance to audition. Being in a choir is a really amazing experience. I think being in a choir is a great way to express yourself. I love being in choir and I think you will too. I loved getting to go to a different school and sing songs with other schools and I hope you come and watch us sing in November.  Welcome Back Bloggers. Today I am going to tell you all about my personal response for reading. My reading teacher is Ms Sands. While we were at our reading class Ms Sands told us to read the STUFF article about the Climate Change March. Once we read the article we had to do a Personal Response about it.
